Military service members are free to seek medical care from military hospitals, or they can apply for medical subsidies for civil hospitals treatments for emergent illnesses. Dependents will join National Health Insurance, for whose fee is subsidized 60% by the Ministry of National Defense. Dependents are subsidized partially if they seek medical care from military hospitals.
Military service members and their dependents can purchase in 40 Military-Welfare-Product stations nationwide.
